This October, McDonalds will offer adult Happy Meals

It’s easy to overlook happier times when grownups sit through conference calls and check their 401k plans. When you were in line at McDonald’s and your parents grudgingly caved in to your repeated requests for a Happy Meal.

Next month, McDonald’s will give grownups a taste of nostalgia as a result of a new partnership. The Cactus Plant Flea Market Box will be made available by McDonald’s as part of a partnership with the streetwear company.

The box, which essentially serves as a Happy Meal for grownups, will feature some of McDonald’s most irresistible menu items. Both a Big Mac and a 10-piece Chicken McNugget are available for guests to pick from while building their own Cactus Plant Flea Market Box. Both choices include a serving of fries and a beverage. Additionally, in typical Happy Meal style, each box will contain one of four limited-edition collectible McDonald’s character figurines.

According to Tariq Hassan, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer at McDonald’s USA, “We’re basically repackaging one of the most memorable McDonald’s experiences in a new form that’s hyper-relevant for our adult consumers.” I’m excited to introduce fans to a special work of art and culture as we go deeply into the exciting world of the Cactus Plant Flea Market next week.

Starting on October 3, McDonald’s will sell the Cactus Plant Flea Market Box for individuals who are anxious to get one (while supplies last).
